Breast cancer diagnosis – Second opinion

Not all examinations need to be repeated for a medical second opinion.

You have the right to a copy of your diagnosis and examination results, such as the pathological findings. You should definitely ask for a copy of your mammography images. These costs are usually covered by statutory insurance.

If you are currently suffering from cancer, you will be in need of treatment in a timely manner, but this does not mean that you cannot obtain a second opinion. In any case, it is crucial to identify the form of treatment most appropriate for you.

You are welcome to seek a second opinion at our Breast Centre.

Have your findings confirmed by a medical second opinion

Choosing a particular therapy for breast cancer means a lengthy course of treatment, and you are entitled to seek a second opinion. Do not be afraid to speak to your physician openly and obtain a second opinion about the findings and treatment method - your physician will understand.
